New Ulster Marine opened in the spring of 2006 by proprietor Kevin Dermond. Located at 440 Abeel Street on the Rondout
waterfront in Kingston, NY, just a mile west of the Husdon River at Kingston Point. Look for us on the Rondout Creek RIGHT
UNDER THE RAILROAD TRESTLE. The marina offers boat slips for rent (motor and sail), bait in season, and a full line of marine
fabrication and repair.
We are also one of the few marinas on the Hudson River that offers BOAT AND KAYAK RENTALS
Boats for rent include an aluminum skiff, a boston whaler, and a jet boat (all 14'), and a 25' sea ray. We have several
different kinds of kayaks: kevlar and plastic, one person boats and tandems, and play boats or squirts which are often used
for white water (we don't have any of that here on the Creek but their small size makes them great for kids). The 14' motor
boats rent for $35./hour and up; and the kayaks are $35./day ($30. on weekdays). To rent a boat you must have a valid drivers
